William Rood

William Rood has extensive experience in the retail industry. William began their career in 1991 as the Director of Store Operations for Ashley Stewart, Inc. where they were part of the executive startup team for a women's plus-size clothing retailer. William then joined Jerr Shoes Inc. in 1993, where they served as the Vice President, Director of Operations and Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for the operational accountability of a $23M retail footwear business and directly supervised all administrative functions. In 2018, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Roma Boots, a company that produces unique, fun wet- and sloppy-weather over-the-foot boots for women and children. In this role, they were also responsible for the Roma Boots Foundation, established by Samuel Bistrian, a survivor of that world who has thrived with a dynamic entrepreneurial and philanthropic commitment.

William Rood obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising & Public Relations from Rutgers University.
