Viktor Teru

Country Coordinator: Stanislava Dzurikova at Roma Education Fund Foundation

Viktor Teru is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, advocacy, and humanitarian work. As the Founder of Roma for Humanity since February 2022, Viktor has focused on supporting refugees amid the Ukraine conflict. Viktor has been involved with the Roma Education Fund as a Country Facilitator and Fundraiser in Slovakia since October 2014 and serves as an Advisor to the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová, from June 2019 to June 2024. Additionally, Viktor has held various roles, including Lecturer at the Ministry of Education, Mentor at the Children of Slovakia Foundation, and Member of the Advisory Committee for the Office of the Plenipotentiary for Roma Communities. Viktor’s previous engagements also include working as a Consultant for the OSCE and serving as an Activism and Fundraising Coordinator for Amnesty International. Currently pursuing a PhD in European Studies and International Relations at Comenius University in Bratislava, Viktor continues to play a significant role in promoting Roma integration and youth development.
