Stanislav Daniel

Director at Roma Education Fund Romania

He is an activist, lawyer, researcher and trainer for Roma rights in Slovakia. Being an active member of the community, his skills combine field experience, at the grassroots, with theory, knowledge gained through both formal and non-formal education.

He has worked for the Roma Education Fund, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the European Roma Rights Center and the Open Society Foundations in Bratislava. He has extensive experience in research and advocacy on topics such as education, freedom of movement, health and the state's response to racially motivated violence. She has worked with the International Step by Step Association, especially promoting access to quality services for young children. He currently works with Porticus as a grant manager responsible for Central and Eastern European education initiatives. He is also co-chair of the European Roma Grassroots Organizations (ERGO) network in Brussels.
