Christopher Fici

Christopher Fici, Ph.D., serves as an educator for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington and as the Creative Director for Pralaya, the Climate Anticipation Project, where efforts focus on fostering anticipatory communities in spirituality and ecological justice. Previously, Christopher was an instructor in the Department of Religious Studies at Iona College and a Ph.D. candidate at Union Theological Seminary, where a dissertation titled "Where Earth Meets the Divine is the Root of Devotion: Anticipatory Community and Regenerative Ecotheology in the Time of Climate Catastrophe" was successfully defended. Additional experience includes leadership roles with the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Academy of Religion and community organizing with the Corbin Hill Food Project. Christopher holds a Ph.D. in Religion/Religious Studies from Union Theological Seminary and a BA in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Michigan.
