Director Office Of Music & Liturgy St. John Neumann Catholic Church at Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington

MaryLu Hartsell has extensive experience in music and liturgy, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Music & Liturgy at St. John Neumann Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Washington since 1997. Previous roles include Associate Director of the Church Music Institute at Shenandoah University and Organist/Music Director positions at various churches, including St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. James Episcopal Church. MaryLu has also contributed to the Catholic Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston's Music Commission and has directed choral and orchestral programs at Fauquier High School. Educationally, MaryLu holds a Master of Music degree with an organ major from Shenandoah University and a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a piano major from James Madison University.
