Albert Sherbo

Retired Catholic Priest at Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines

Albert Sherbo is a retired Catholic priest who served the Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines from July 1987 until retirement, holding roles such as Associate Pastor and Pastor at St. Pius X in Urbandale. Prior to this, Albert taught at St. Albert Catholic High School from August 1969 to June 1985, where responsibilities included golf and girls basketball coaching, as well as serving as the junior high activities director. Earlier experience includes positions as Caddy Master and Shop Assistant at Des Moines Golf and Country Club from June 1954 to August 1960. Albert's educational background includes three degrees in Theology/Theological Studies from Conception Seminary, Mt. Saint Bernard Seminary, and Kenrick Glennon Seminary, complemented by a high school education from Dowling Catholic High School. Enjoying retirement, Albert expresses a longing for the community and connections with those not seen often.
