Derek Lyssy

Derek Lyssy has held various roles in the field of development and stewardship in the Roman Catholic Church. Derek is currently the Chief Development Officer at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulsa & Eastern Oklahoma since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Development Officer at Seton Education Partners from 2022 to 2023. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as the Director of Stewardship & Development at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulsa & Eastern Oklahoma. Before that, they were the Parish Campaign Director at the Archdiocese of Chicago from 2015 to 2017. Derek began their career as a Missionary and later became a Team Director at The Fellowship of Catholic University Students from 2011 to 2015.

Derek Lyssy earned a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Benedictine College from 2007 to 2011. In June 2021, Derek obtained a CFRE Certification from CFRE International.
