Laurent Botaya

Laurent Botaya has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laurent is currently the Head of Innovation Strategy at Romande Energie, working for RE Ventures. Prior to this, Laurent was involved in their own consulting company called Botaya Uninc., where they served as an Associate Founder. At Botaya Uninc., they provided consulting services in the field of strategy, circular business modeling, impact investment, and energy transition. Laurent achieved several significant milestones, including conducting opportunity and feasibility studies, advising the creation of a business accelerator, providing startup coaching, and redesigning the Unique Selling Proposition for a logistics player. Before that, Laurent worked as a Senior Manager and Responsible for Innovation at Cepheld Consulting, a Manager Consultant at inspearit, and a Business Intelligence Manager at minogue medical. Laurent also served as a Senior Strategy Analyst at Bombardier Transportation and a Bid Manager for Offshore Windfarm at VINCI. Laurent started their career as a Project Manager in Renewable Energies at Poweo, where they managed power plant projects and led cross-functional teams.

Laurent Botaya has a diverse education history. Laurent completed their postgraduate study in Strategy and Management of International Business from ESSEC Business School from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned their undergraduate degree as an Engineer from Ecole centrale de Nantes, where the field of study is unspecified, from 2000 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Laurent Botaya has also obtained certifications. Laurent received a certification in Analyse de Cycle de Vie from Groupe AFNOR in October 2020.
