Pieter Helsen has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Pieter started their career as an Intern Web Developer at MARKEE in 2007. Pieter then became a Flash Forum Leader at Creativecow.net from August 2007 to December 2012.

Moving on, Pieter joined These Days Y&R in 2008 and held multiple positions. Pieter initially served as a Flash Developer, responsible for developing high-profile Flash websites for clients such as Nokia and Microsoft. Later, they became a Lead Online Architect, where they acted as a technical consultant for advertising campaigns and managed a small team of developers. From June 2014 to April 2015, Pieter worked as the Chief Technology Officer at These Days Y&R, overseeing the development team's day-to-day operations.

In 2015, Pieter joined Rombit as a Technical Project Manager, responsible for bringing structure and managing various projects, including A-Sign, Pro Alliance, and Vavato. Pieter then ascended to the role of Chief Operating Officer from January 2016 to October 2016. Subsequently, Pieter served as the VP of Products from October 2016 to May 2017 at Rombit. Pieter returned to Rombit as the Chief Technology Officer from January 2017 until December 2021. Pieter is currently working as the VP of Products since January 2022.
