Charlie Carlson

Charlie Carlson is an experienced public affairs professional currently serving as the Public Affairs Program Manager at Meet Minneapolis since June 2023. Prior to this role, Charlie held the position of Executive Aide to the Governor in the Office of Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan, starting in January 2019. Charlie's career includes significant contributions as a Political Organizer for Tim Walz for Governor and experiences as an Outdoor Trip Leader at Wilderness Inquiry. Additional roles include a Party Affairs Intern at the Minnesota DFL Party and a Summer Staff member at Annunciation Youth Ministries, where organizational and leadership skills were utilized in youth programming. Earlier experience includes a Legislative Internship with the Minnesota State Senate, assisting Senator Barb Goodwin with various administrative tasks. Charlie holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota, along with a high school diploma from the Academy of Holy Angels.
