Safia Zaman

Safia Zaman is an experienced professional currently serving as an Emergency Department Technician at Rome Health and a Medical Assistant at Digestive Disease Medicine Of Central New York, both since 2023. Additionally, Safia holds the position of Worship Leader at Rome Alliance Church. A graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Music in Professional Studies, Safia engaged in various roles during university, including Student Government Director of Academic Affairs, Research Assistant in the BRAIN Lab, and Office of Disability Services Volunteer Note-Taker. Music leadership roles include serving as Ocean Reef Chapel Choir Section Leader and being an Executive Board Member in both the Frost American Choral Directors Association and Phoenyx A Cappella. Prior experience features counseling as a Kamp Connections Teen Senior Counselor at The Kelberman Center and performing with the Master Chorale of South Florida.
