Nick Triano has over 30 years of experience in the intellectual property field. Nick began their career in 1987 as a System Engineer/Patent Liaison at Zymark Corporation. In 1991, they moved to W.R. Grace as a Patent Attorney. In 1996, they became an Associate at Weingarten, Schurgin, Gagnebin & Lebovici LLP. Nick then moved to Lahive & Cockfield LLP in 1999 in the same role. In 2001, they joined Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo as an Associate. In 2006, they became Counsel at Goodwin Procter LLP. In 2008, they joined Synta Pharmaceuticals as Senior Director, Intellectual Property and Director of Intellectual Property. In 2016, they moved to Sanofi as Senior Counsel, Patents. Nick is currently Senior Director, Intellectual Property at ROME Therapeutics since 2022.
Nick Triano received their Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1991. Nick also obtained two Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1983, with majors in Biochemistry and Chemistry, respectively.
