Houman Gohary is an accomplished Executive Chef with extensive experience in leading culinary teams and improving food service operations. Currently serving as Executive Chef at TCMA for the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center since August 2021, Houman oversees culinary activities at a major events venue. Concurrently, as Executive Chef at IPIC Theaters since August 2018, Houman has focused on optimizing food and beverage operations while maintaining budgetary goals. Formerly, Houman was the Founder, CEO, Chef, Owner, and Culinary Director at Good Karma Foods, where responsibilities included vendor negotiations and introducing an artisan food line. Additionally, Houman served as Corporate Culinary Trainer and Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company from March 1992 to October 1999, contributing to international openings and team development. Educational credentials include an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America and the American Culinary Federation, as well as ongoing studies toward a Bachelor's degree in Physics at The University of Texas at Austin.
