Matt has nearly 40 years of intellectual property law practice in the U.S. and internationally, with expertise in physics, electronics, computer-related inventions and control systems, including IP procurement, licensing and enforcement. Throughout his career, Matt has advised on and built extensive patent portfolios for companies of all sizes, both as in-house and outside counsel. He is also seasoned in IP policy matters relating to legislation and regulations. Prior to joining Rondo, Matt served as a partner in a major international intellectual property law firm, and as Director of the Innovation Division in the WIPO Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organization agency of the United Nations. He earned a J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Maryland.
