Matthieu Jonemann

Matt is an energy storage expert with more than 15 years of experience spanning the renewable energy, automotive and aerospace industries. He previously served as Principal Engineer for GlassPoint Solar, where he led the design of the company’s thermal energy storage for industrial process steam generation, as well as the planning and execution of its storage demonstration project. As Staff Engineer for Tesla, Matt managed the design of the on-site utility yard and led reliability reviews across all major process systems at Gigafactory 1 in Nevada. He also supported engineering for organizations including Halotechnics, Inc., Ardica Technologies and GE Aviation. Matt holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
