Laura is responsible for building cloning vectors from scratch, leading a team of scientists in high throughput cloning and antibody screening. Laura is also in charge of antibody engineering for the development of bispecific antibodies as solid tumor cancer therapeutics.

- Scientist at Amgen from October 2021 to April 2022. During their time at Amgen, Laura led the Discovery team based in Newark and managed three team members. Laura also initiated and tracked immunizations using UniRats at CROs and collaborated with the Discovery group in Vancouver to ensure coordination between the two teams.

- Research Scientist III at Teneobio, Inc. from February 2020 to October 2021. Laura co-led the Discovery efforts for novel cancer therapeutics and was involved in high-throughput cloning, expression, and screening of heavy chain only antibodies. Laura also handled requests for medium-throughput expression and purification of antibodies and led antibody engineering projects.

- Research Scientist II at TeneoBio from February 2017 to February 2020. In this role, Laura co-led the Discovery efforts for novel cancer therapeutics, focusing on high-throughput cloning, expression, and screening of antibodies. Laura played a key role in ensuring a smooth pipeline and timely delivery of molecules.

- Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University from September 2015 to January 2017. During their time at Stanford, Laura took on multiple lab management roles, including managing the lab's mouse colony, ordering and maintaining inventory, setting up new machines, and mentoring undergraduates in the lab.
