Ruth Chu

Ruth Chu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of research and science. Ruth started their career as a research associate at UC Davis CEH in December 2001 and worked there until July 2005. Following that, they joined CPMC as a research technician from July 2005 to July 2007. Ruth then moved on to Bionovo, Inc. where they worked as a research scientist I from September 2007 to January 2010.

In January 2010, they joined Gilead Sciences and held multiple roles during their time there. Ruth started as a senior research associate II, Biology from January 2010 to January 2014. Ruth then became an associate scientist I, Biology from January 2014 to August 2019. Finally, they served as a senior associate scientist from August 2019 to January 2022.

After leaving Gilead Sciences, Ruth Chu joined Triplebar Bio as a technical lead-scientist II from January 2022 to April 2023. Ruth is currently working at Rondo Therapeutics as a research scientist II starting from April 2023.

Ruth Chu has pursued their education at the University of California, Davis, where they attained double majors in Microbiology and Italian. Ruth completed their studies but specific start and end dates are not provided for this educational experience.
