Trina Campbell has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Trina began their career at WELLPOINT INC (EMPIRE BCBS) in 2004, holding various positions such as Event/Experiential Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, Cause Marketing Manager, and Direct Marketing Manager. At WellPoint, they developed and executed integrated marketing experiences, including strategic partnerships, advertising, promotions, communications, events, social media, and cause marketing. Trina also managed agency and vendor relationships, budgets, and results tracking for campaigns and event production.
In 2006, Trina became a Marketing Consultant/Freelancer, co-founding Keynote New York, LLC. Trina launched a music consulting company that promoted new talent through song placement, marketing, industry networking forums, and artist showcases. As a freelancer, they worked on special events, production, artist management, and promotion, including live TV and industry showcases for events like the American Country Countdown Awards, American Music Awards, Creative Arts Emmys, and Hollywood Film Awards.
Since 2015, Trina has been working at Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG). Trina initially served as Sr. Marketing & Experiential Manager for UMPG/Universal Production Music, developing and executing marketing strategies for music placement and licensing in various verticals. Trina also created and managed integrated marketing campaigns to promote Killer Tracks artists and composers through live experiences such as artist showcases, tours, and promotions. Additionally, they established and maintained partnerships with organizations like SXSW, Guild of Music Supervisors, Production Music Association, Adobe MAX, NAB, and Realscreen.
In 2020, Trina moved up to the role of Director, Marketing for UMPG/ELIAS Music, where they continue to contribute their expertise in marketing and promotions.
Trina Campbell's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from East Carolina University and studies in Entertainment/Media Management and Music Business at New York University.
