Katie Church

Katie Church currently serves as the Director of Shared Housing at Roof Above, overseeing three innovative housing programs focused on Housing First and Harm Reduction principles. Katie's experience includes roles at the Urban Ministry Center, where responsibilities ranged from managing community education initiatives to fundraising for campaigns aimed at addressing homelessness. Previously, Katie was the Foster Care Director at THOMPSON Child & Family Focus, supervising a team in support of therapeutic foster families. With a background in therapy as an intern at both The Salvation Army and the Pfeiffer Institute for Marriage & Family Therapy, Katie also has early experience as a Pre-K Lead Teacher at Gateway Academy. Katie holds a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Religion from St. Olaf College.
