Previously, Covan held the position of Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Treasurer at Classic Collision, where leadership extended across accounting, credit and collections, and treasury departments. Experience includes directing corporate accounting and finance operations at EIS, overseeing a 17-person team at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions, and facilitating financial processes at Janus International Group. Earlier roles include serving as Corporate Controller at ThermaSys Corporation, Assistant Controller at Drummond Company, and Accounting Officer at Compass Bancshares. Covan's early career began at Regions Financial Corporation. Educational background includes an MBA and a BS in Accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery.
