Jani Savolainen

Jani Savolainen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Jani is currently working as a Senior Business Development Director (EMEA) at Room 8 Group since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Partnerships Lead at Nine66 from February 2022 to February 2023.

From 2016 to 2022, Jani held multiple roles at Remedy Entertainment Plc. Jani served as an External Development Business Manager from October 2019 to February 2022, and as an Outsourcing Manager from February 2016 to October 2019.

In 2011, Jani briefly worked as a Program Manager at RealNetworks, where they managed various mobile game projects at the company's mobile games studio, Mr Goodliving.

From 2008 to 2010, Jani worked as an IT Specialist at Steinbeis Transferzentrum GmbH as part of an EU funded development cooperation project. Jani planned and ran training cycles for local SMEs, consulted on the application of ICT in the private and governmental sectors, and developed a web-based promotional initiative for the entertainment sector.

Earlier in their career, Jani worked as a Post-Production Manager at Real Networks / Mrgoodliving Ltd from 2005 to 2008. Jani managed the post-production department, handled managerial tasks, and liaised with testing houses and mobile operators worldwide.

Jani's work experience also includes serving as a Webmaster/JPO at Helsinki Consulting Group / SADC from 2002 to 2004, and working in technical support and server management at Infosto Oy from 1999 to 2002.
