Matthew Zoern

Matthew Zoern has an extensive work experience in the gaming and technology industry. Matthew currently holds the position of Head of Studio - Solid Bash at Room 8 Group since January 2023. Matthew previously served as the VP of Games at the same company from November 2020 to January 2023, where they played a key role in expanding the Games Division into four new countries and improving operational infrastructure. Before that, Matthew worked as a Production Manager at MindGeek from April 2018 to November 2020, managing the production and live operations of multiple F2P games across different countries. Matthew also has experience as the Co-Founder & President of the Canadian Federation for Drone Racing and as the CEO of FPV Canada, a national body for organized FPV activities. Matthew has held various executive producer and producer roles at Nvizzio Creations Inc., Funcom Games Canada, Ludia, Electronic Arts, and Ganz. Matthew has a background in graphic design and standards management from their time at EMI Music Canada as a Senior Graphic Designer/Standards Manager. Overall, Matthew Zoern has a strong track record of leadership and experience in the gaming and technology industry.

Matthew Zoern attended Sheridan College from 1994 to 1995, where they studied Graphic Design. Matthew then pursued further education at Ryerson University from 2001 to 2003, obtaining an Associate's degree in Design/Creative Management. In addition to their formal education, Matthew has also obtained additional certifications. In 2018, they earned a certification in Learning GDPR from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in 2020, Matthew obtained the Noble Title of Lord from The Principality of Sealand.
