Rebecca Lechner

Rebecca Lechner is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications and employer branding. Currently serving as Director of Internal Communications at Room & Board since September 2019, Lechner manages a team and leads strategic initiatives to enhance the company's internal communications and employer brand. Previously, Lechner held roles including Internal Communications Manager and Employer Brand Manager at Room & Board, focusing on elevating the employer brand and engaging staff and candidates. Prior to this, Lechner worked as Communications Manager at the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance, overseeing comprehensive marketing and communications, and as Account Supervisor at Weber Shandwick in both healthcare and financial services. Early career experience includes roles as Program Coordinator for the Association for Nonsmokers-MN and as a reporter/producer at WEAU 13 News. Lechner holds a BA in Journalism and completed Public Health Certificate Courses at the University of Minnesota.
