Yuan Gong

Yuan Gong's work experience began in 2015 as a Summer Research Intern at Stevens Institute of Technology. In 2016, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at New York University, where they evaluated courses for the IE M.S. program. In 2017, they joined Vital Neuro as a Product Design Engineer, where they conducted research and design for a proprietary dry EEG monitoring solution. They also initiated the development of a proprietary EEG electrode. In 2019, Yuan Gong joined ROOM as a Junior Mechanical Engineer, where they supported the product design process, made prototypes, and worked with factories to adjust designs for manufacturability. In September 2020, they were promoted to the position of Mechanical Engineer.

Yuan Gong has an extensive education history. They began their academic journey at Beijing World Youth Academy, where they completed their high school education from 2009 to 2012. Yuan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Yuan decided to further enhance their knowledge in the field of engineering and product design. They joined New York University for their Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Product Design and Development. This program spanned from 2016 to 2018.

Additionally, Yuan obtained the certification of Engineer In Training from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in March 2022. This certification reflects their professional dedication and expertise in the field of engineering.
