In 1986, Schneider founded and grew a multi-branch travel agency, Media Travel USA- Carlson Wagonlit Travel, from start-up to six million dollars in sales. Rick managed national sales and marketing efforts, specializing in travel for large associations and media companies.
In 1996, Schneider was hired as Director of Market Development for Carlson Wagonlit Travel. In this role, they acted as a liaison between franchise principals of 1000 independently owned travel agencies and Carlson corporate headquarters, significantly improving relations with Carlson's franchise customers.
In 1998, Schneider was hired as Vice President of Marketing for Network Holdings. Here, they developed preferred supplier programs and implemented a strategic alliance program with leading cruise lines, airlines, car rental, hotel and tour companies.
In 1999, Schneider was hired as Vice President of Business Development for World Choice Travel. Rick played an instrumental role in building a global travel affiliate program from scratch to one of the leading programs around the globe.
In 2000, Schneider was hired as Vice President of Global Business Development for World Choice Travel, which was acquired by Travelocity. With the Travelocity acquisition, their title changed to Director of Global Business Development. Rick started the affiliate program and grew it to thousands of travel website partners in over 40 countries worldwide.
In 2011, Schneider was hired as Vice President of Sales & Strategic Partnerships for Priceline Partner Network (PPN).
In 2022, Schneider was hired as Head of Global Sales for Roomer Travel. In this role, they are responsible for launching an innovative B2B program which makes non-refundable hotel rooms flexible.
Rick Schneider attended Conestoga High School from 1969 to 1971. Rick then attended the Philadelphia Drama Workshop from 1967 to 1968, where they studied Fine/Studio Arts, General. Lastly, they attended Butler University from 1971 to 1972, where they studied Radio-TV.
