Sophia Spriggs

Sophia Spriggs has a diverse work experience across various industries. Sophia began their career as a GIS Intern at the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission in 2016, where they assisted with data analysis and report writing related to population density.

In 2016, Sophia also worked as a Green Spaces Intern at Evergreen Brickworks, gaining valuable experience in environmental conservation and maintenance.

From 2017 to 2017, they served as a Farm Hand at Arcadia Farms, gaining hands-on experience in agricultural operations.

Sophia then joined the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council in 2019 as an Operations Coordinator, where they played a vital role in coordinating operations within the organization.

In 2010, Sophia started their journey in the coffee industry, working as a Barista at Misha's Coffee Shop and Roaster. Sophia later transitioned to the role of Coffee Roaster, showcasing their expertise in coffee production and roasting.

Their most recent role is at the Roosevelt Institute, where they have progressed from an Operations Associate to a Senior Operations Associate. Sophia's contributions to the organization include managing operations and ensuring smooth functioning.

Sophia Spriggs pursued their education at the University of Toronto. From 2009 to 2013, they completed their high school education at the University of Toronto, and later went on to earn their Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Geography from the same institution from 2013 to 2017.
