Stephen Lenzini

Stephen Lenzini, PhD, has extensive experience in process development within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Scientist II at RoosterBio Inc. since May 2021, Lenzini previously held roles as Scientist I and as a Doctoral Student in the Dr. Jae-Won Shin Research Group from August 2016 to May 2021. Prior research experience includes positions as Research Associate and Research Assistant in the Dr. Joshua Leonard Research Group and Northwestern University's Tyo Lab, respectively, from September 2013 to 2016. Lenzini completed a Pharmacogenomics internship at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and worked as a Research Assistant at Exicure in 2013. Academically, Lenzini earned a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Chicago (2016-2020), along with an MS and BS in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Northwestern University (2011-2016).
