Nicole Bernaerts

Nicole Bernaerts has a comprehensive work experience in the gaming industry. Nicole is currently working as a Regulatory Compliance Manager at Rootz LTD since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Regulatory Compliance Manager at L and L Europe Ltd from January 2020 to April 2023. Before moving into compliance roles, Nicole served as a Responsible Gaming Specialist at Casumo from September 2019 to January 2020. Their earlier experience includes multiple roles at L and L Europe Ltd, starting as a Customer Support Agent from October 2016 to March 2018, then progressing to Customer Support Team Leader from March 2018 to December 2018, and finally stepping into the role of Responsible Gaming Manager from December 2018 to September 2019. Throughout their career, Nicole has demonstrated expertise in customer support, responsible gaming, and regulatory compliance within the gaming industry.

Nicole Bernaerts has obtained a diverse educational background in the field of education and child development. Nicole began their academic journey in 2009 at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor's Propedeuse Degree in Educational Theory (Pedagogics) in 2010. Nicole then continued their studies at the University of Amsterdam, completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Child Development and Educational Science (Pedagogical Science) in 2014. Nicole further pursued their educational pursuits at the University of Amsterdam and graduated with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Child Development and Educational Science (Pedagogical Science) in 2016. In 2017, they also received training in Emergency Paediatric First Aid from the St. Bernard's Safety Training Institute.
