Fred Ick

Fred Missick possesses extensive experience in rope access and safety management, currently serving as an Assessor, Auditor, and North America RAC Vice-Chairman at IRATA International since November 2019. As part of the Equipment & Standards Committee, Fred contributes to industry standards and regulations. Additionally, Fred is an Evaluator and member of the Regulatory Assistance Committee with the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) since April 2020. Fred's diverse background includes roles as Training Manager and Technical Authority at Rope Access Maintenance Inc, as well as experience as a Rigger at Nabatech Communications Ltd. Previous positions include Rigging and Ground Support at Heritage Tree Care, and various Rope Access Technician roles at multiple companies, showcasing a strong foundation in both practical skills and leadership in rope access operations. Fred holds an Honors Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology of Religion from Universidade Federal Fluminense.
