Hailong Zhang

Hailong Zhang, Ph. D., currently serves as the Pharma Analytical Research Manager at Roquette since November 2018, focusing on resource and capacity planning for analytical development in pharmaceutical research. With previous experience as a Senior Scientist at Roquette, Hailong specialized in developing and implementing analytical methods for various pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products, including monoclonal antibody biosimilars. Prior to this, Hailong worked as an Analytical Chemist at Pharmaceutical Services at SGS, where method development and validation were key responsibilities. Academic experience includes a role as a Bioanalytical Scientist at the University of Toronto, leading analytical method development to support therapeutics and biomarker identification. Hailong holds a Ph.D. in Analytical/Bioanalytical-Clinical Chemistry from Cleveland State University/Cleveland Clinic and a Master's Degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
