Lina Diaz Contreras

Lina Diaz Contreras, EIT, M.Sc. is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and production management, currently serving as Plant Performance Excellence Manager at Roquette since September 2019, where previous roles included Production Manager and Process Engineer. Lina's background includes a Master's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del Valle. At the University of Manitoba, Lina contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant, developing a device for measuring humidity in soybeans and analyzing data using statistical software. Additional experience includes roles as Production Quality Supervisor at J.R. Simplot Company, where supervision and coordination of quality and production processes were key responsibilities, and various positions in production control and quality assurance across different companies, including Coca-Cola FEMSA.
