Metin Topcan

Metin Topcan has over 30 years of work experience, starting from their role as an IT Infrastructure HW/SW Manager at Procter & Gamble in 1989. Metin later worked as a Project Manager, IT Operations Manager, and Demand Management Application Manager at Procter & Gamble. Metin then joined Topcan Consulting as an Information Technology Consultant in 2002.

Metin Topcan moved on to work at Delphi Automotive as a Global Transformation Manager and later as the Director of IT Infrastructure Services EMEA. Metin achieved major organizational transformations and cost savings in these roles.

Topcan then joined Cargill as the Regional Director of IT Infrastructure Services EMEA and later became the Director of Global Network Services. Metin focused on restructuring organizational processes and achieving cost savings through the right mix of internal and external services.

Currently, Metin Topcan is at Roquette, where they initially served as the Head of Global IS Operations before taking on the role of Head of Global IT Operations & Footprint. Metin also became a member of the Global Business Leadership Team for the Industrial Products Group. In these roles, they led several initiatives to improve IT infrastructure and operations, recruit key leadership positions, and advocate for a more strategic approach in project management.

Throughout their career, Metin Topcan has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of achieving cost savings, organizational transformations, and efficiencies in IT operations.

Metin Topcan holds a M.Sc. EE degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, which they obtained from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they earned a BE in EE degree in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut from 1980 to 1985. Metin also attended the Army Liaison Officer to the United Nations - Turkish Cypriot Army from 1985 to 1987. Metin completed their high school education at Turk Maarif Koleji, receiving a High School diploma from 1974 to 1980. Metin also obtained a USA High School Diploma from Blair High School in 1978 and 1979. In addition to their degrees, Metin has obtained certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt and ITIL from Pink Elephant in 2007 and 2006, respectively.
