Tanushree Jaitly

Tanushree Jaitly has extensive work experience in the field of bioinformatics and research. Tanushree is currently working as a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at ROSALIND (formerly OnRamp Bio) since June 2021. Prior to this, they were a Bioinformatics Scientist at Applied StemCell from June 2018 to October 2020. Tanushree also worked as a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from September 2014 to June 2018, conducting research in the field of genomics. In 2016, they attended the Cancer Genomics summer school at EMBL-EBI, where they gained expertise in analyzing data from genomics cancer studies. Tanushree has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Dept of Dermatology, University Hospital Erlangen in Germany and as a Research Assistant at Universität des Saarlandes. Furthermore, Tanushree Jaitly completed their Master's thesis project at Universität des Saarlandes, where they analyzed the properties of confined water between two hydrophilic surfaces. Tanushree has also worked at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, Saarland University, The Bioinformatica Solutions, and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, gaining experience in various areas including object annotation, video annotation, pose estimation, web designing, epigenetics signatures detected by Next generation Sequencing, in-silico DNA vaccine designing, and basic techniques in pharmacology.

Tanushree Jaitly's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at Amity University. Tanushree studied there for four years and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2011. Following their bachelor's degree, they pursued a Master's degree at the Universität des Saarlandes from 2011 to 2013. Tanushree'sfield of study during this time was Bioinformatics. After completing their master's degree, they went on to join FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2014. At FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, they spent six years working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in natural science, specifically in the field of Bioinformatics.
