Umar Sharif is a Quality Assurance professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a QA Officer at Rosemont Pharmaceuticals since July 2022. Prior to this role, Umar held similar positions at AstraZeneca and Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC, where responsibilities included ensuring quality compliance and operational standards. Umar's academic background includes a BSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in 2019, and A-levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology from North Halifax Grammar School.

At Rosemont we have a portfolio of over 130 oral liquid medicines across a range of therapeutic areas including 70 licensed products. All of our products, both licensed and ‘specials’ are made to the same exacting standards under GMP. Our UK range also includes 9 products licensed for use with PEG/NG tubes. We are always seeking to expand our range of medicines and covert our ‘specials’ to licensed product wherever possible.
