Ashley Smith

Ashley Smith is an experienced educator with a Bachelor Degree in Science, Elementary Education from Baker College, earned between 2006 and 2015. Since 2014, Ashley has been an All Year Round School Teacher at Roseville Community Schools, specializing in team teaching first grade, designing real-life connection lessons, implementing differentiated instruction, and utilizing Guided Reading Mastery techniques. Previous experience includes serving as a substitute teacher with PESG and EDU Staff, where responsibilities involved modeling Reading Mastery, utilizing technology such as the Mimio and Smart Boards, and maintaining classroom safety. Prior to this, Ashley worked as a Child Caregiver at Shores Child Care Center from 2005 to 2012, facilitating activities, planning learning experiences, and fostering communication with children and parents.
