Yigit Kale

Yigit Kale, AIA has over 16 years of diverse work experience in the field of architecture and design. Yigit currently holds the position of Senior Corporate Director of Design, Americas at Rosewood Hotel Group. Previously, Yigit worked as the Principal Architect at Soho House & Co, where they were responsible for developing the architectural direction for a range of physical spaces including hotels, private members clubs, restaurants, retail, co-working spaces, wellness and health clubs. Yigit also served as a Senior Architect at the same company. Before their tenure at Soho House, Yigit worked as a Senior Project Manager at A+C and as a Creative Director at Diad Architecture. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as an Owner of their own company, Yigit Kale, and as a Designer at Studio Jorge Zapata. Yigit's early career involved roles as a Solar Decathlon Team Member at Empowerhouse Collaborative and as a Co-Founder and Design Architect at Studio Walukuba, where they focused on developing economic and self-sufficient model housing schemes in Uganda. Yigit's educational background includes working as an NAAB Accreditation Assistant at Parsons The New School for Design and an internship as an Interior Architect at Altay & Altay.

Yigit Kale, AIA, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University (2004-2008). Yigit later pursued a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree at Parsons School of Design - The New School (2008-2011). In addition to their educational background, Yigit has obtained certifications from various institutions, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and the New York State.
