Kasper Bjering Søby Jensen

Kasper Bjering Søby Jensen is an experienced mathematics educator and politician, currently serving as a lektor and fagkoordinator at Roskilde Katedralskole since October 2012. In addition to educational roles, Kasper holds the position of byrådsmedlem and udvalgsformand for Børn og Undervisning in Ishøj Kommune since January 2014, representing Socialdemokratiet. Currently a member of the Gymnasieekspertgruppen at the Nationalt Center for Udvikling af Matematikundervisning and a board member at Vestegnen HF & VUC, Kasper has also contributed to the Matematikkommissionen under the Undervisningsministeriet. With a Ph.D. in Matematikkens Didaktik from Roskilde University, where Kasper studied from 2009 to 2016, and a Master of Science in Mathematics and Physics obtained from the same institution, the educational background is robust. Previous involvement with SF - Socialistisk Folkeparti included significant leadership roles, and earlier teaching experience encompasses positions at Roskilde Katedralskole and SF Ungdom.
