Tobias Hagmann

Tobias Hagmann is a Senior Program Officer for 'Dealing with the Past' at swisspeace since September 2022, focusing on strategy, research, and development in this area. Concurrently, Tobias serves as Co-Director at Public Culture Lab GmbH and is a Fellow at Somali Public Agenda and Rift Valley Institute, specializing in teaching and academic research on Eastern and Central Africa. As a Visiting Professor and Associate Professor at Roskilde University, Tobias teaches and supervises development and global studies at various academic levels. Additional roles include Board Member at the Eugen and Elisabeth Schellenberg Foundation and a former Guest Researcher at Danish Institute for International Studies. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Lausanne, obtained in 2006.
