Carrie Zhang

Carrie Zhang is a seasoned marketing and business professional with a diverse background in the biotechnology and technology sectors. Currently serving as an Executive Mentor at the Maryland Tech Council since January 2024, Carrie also holds the position of Global Head of Marketing at RoslinCT and has been a Senior Business Advisor at Opus8, Inc. since January 2022. Previous roles include Director of Marketing and Product Management at RoosterBio Inc., Senior Manager Ecommerce at QIAGEN, and Senior Marketing Manager at Earth Networks, among others. Carrie has a strong foundation in leadership, having served as Chairman at Qingdao Bioengineering Network, where collaboration across sectors was prioritized to drive innovation. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master's degree in Virology from Wuhan University.
