Lauren Handforth, CHRP has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Lauren started their career as a Student Registration Assistant at Carleton University, where they supported incoming students with course selection and managed convocation ceremonies. Lauren then worked as a Lead Conference Services Representative at Carleton University, overseeing a team and providing hospitality services for various client groups.

Lauren also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Sprott School of Business, where they managed the marking of assignments and provided feedback to students. Lauren further expanded their skills as a Human Resources Administrator at the Ottawa Community Housing Corporation, handling HR-related tasks.

Lauren's career then transitioned to the field of sales and research. Lauren also worked as a Meetings Researcher at Ottawa Tourism, promoting Ottawa as a destination for conferences and increasing revenue.

Lauren then joined Shopify as a Technical Recruiter, responsible for talent acquisition. Currently, Lauren is working as a Talent Acquisition Partner at Ross Video.
