Daniel Gunther has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel began their career as a Guest Experience Leader at McDonald's in 2015, where they focused on ensuring a quality experience for guests and assisting them with the new kiosk ordering system. In 2017, they joined Landmark Cinemas Canada as a Crew Member, where they obtained a Smart Serve License for bartending and worked as a licensed hot foods operator and bartender. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineering Co-op at Leonardo DRS, gaining experience in designing user interfaces for avionics systems using JavaFX and CSS. In 2020, they joined SocialSquared as a Front-End Software Developer, spearheading the implementation of agile development strategies and using React, JavaScript XML, and CSS to design and develop websites. Currently, they are working as a Software Developer at Ross Video, starting in 2021.

Daniel Gunther completed their high school education at South Carleton High School from 2013 to 2017, earning a High School Diploma. Daniel then pursued further education at Carleton University from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Systems Engineering. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained a certification in Smart Serve from Smart Serve Ontario.
