Ken Kicksee

Senior Technical Writer at Ross Video

Ken Kicksee has over 20 years of experience in technical writing. Ken began their career at Nortel Networks as an Information Developer, where they researched and wrote documentation for the SuperNode Data Manager project. Ken then joined Cognos as a Technical Writer, where they researched and wrote about various Business Intelligence software applications. During their time at Cognos, they also completed courses in XML and C++, as well as participated in volunteer events. Ken later worked at March Networks as a Senior Technical Writer, focusing on video surveillance systems for passenger rail applications. Ken then joined Intelcan Technosystems Incorporated in the same role. Currently, Ken is a Senior Technical Writer at Ross Video, where they continue to learn and write about video production equipment.

Ken Kicksee pursued their education at several institutions. Ken began their academic journey at Ryerson University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a 3-year diploma in Theatre, specializing in Technical/Production. Following this, Ken enrolled at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they obtained a diploma in Furniture Technician from 1996 to 1998. Later, in 1999 to 2000, they returned to Algonquin College to pursue another diploma, this time in Technical Writing.
