Scott Kaneta

FPGA Designer at Ross Video

Scott Kaneta has a diverse work experience in the field of electronics engineering. Scott started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) in 2004. Scott then worked as an Engineering Co-op at Leitch Technology in 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they were employed as a Design Engineer at Harris Corporation. In 2010, they joined Jefferson Lab as an Electronics Engineer and stayed there until 2013. During this time, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Christopher Newport University for a brief period in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Altera-Dedicated Field Applications Engineer at Arrow Electronics. Currently, they are working as an FPGA Designer at Ross Video, a position they have held since 2014.

Scott Kaneta attended Old Dominion University from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering. Scott then continued their education at the same university from 2005 to 2007 and obtained a Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree in Computer Engineering.
