Sylvain Pigeon

Sylvain Pigeon has extensive work experience in product management and operations. Sylvain has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

Starting in 1996, Sylvain completed an engineering co-op at Georgia Pacific Canada Northwoods. Sylvain then went on to work at Kimberly-Clark in 1997 as an engineering co-op. In 1998, they had a similar role as an engineering co-op at The Hershey Company.

In 1999, Sylvain joined JDSU as a process engineer. Sylvain later transitioned into roles such as product engineer, application engineer, and product line manager. Their time at JDSU lasted until 2009.

From 2009 to 2016, Sylvain worked at ORBCOMM. Sylvain started as a product manager and worked their way up to director of product management.

In 2016, Sylvain became the director of product management at Epiphan Video. After a year, they moved on to Nanometrics Seismic Monitoring Solutions and served as a senior product manager until 2023.

Currently, Sylvain is the senior product operations manager at Ross Video, a position they started in April 2023.

Sylvain Pigeon completed their education with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Co-operative Education Program from the University of Ottawa, attending from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Ecole Secondaire catholique Sainte-Marie from 1989 to 1994, though no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. In addition to their formal education, Sylvain has obtained additional certifications, including "Advanced Product Management: Vision, Strategy & Metrics" from Udemy, which they obtained in January 2022, and "The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2022: Go from Zero to Hero" from Udemy, which they completed in December 2021.
