Richard Payton has a work experience spanning several decades. Richard started their career at Hunt Energy in 1984, where they held the position of Manager until 1989. Richard then joined El Paso Corp / El Paso Global Networks in 1991, where they worked as a Manager until 2002. In the same year, Richard founded their own company called The Payton Company, where they currently serve as President. More recently, in 2020, they became the President of the Rotary Club of Austin, and in 2021, they transitioned to the role of Past President.
Richard Payton earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Texas A&M University in the years 1980 to 1984. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Texas McCombs School of Business between 1989 and 1991. Prior to their university education, Richard attended Reagan High School, although the specific dates are unknown.

While we normally meet every Tuesday from 11:30 - 1:00 at the Ben Hur Shrine Temple (7811 Rockwood Lane, Austin, TX, 78757) we are currently holding all meetings and events online/virtually during the COVID-19 crisis.
