Ukpeme Okon

Ukpeme Okon is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in leadership and advocacy. Since January 2020, Ukpeme has served as the National Vice President and National Director of Administration for the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) USA. In addition to these roles, Ukpeme holds the position of Peace Committee Chair for both Rotary District 7620 and the Rotary Club of Rockville since July 2022. As the Principal of The Values String, LLC since December 2021, Ukpeme also presides as President of the Guild of Adjudicators in Nigeria (GAIN) since 2014 and serves as Executive Secretary for Mediators & Advocates of Peace (LAMPAIX) since 2019. Legal counsel at La Paix Solicitors since February 2006, Ukpeme has previously contributed to the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization NIDO Americas Inc as Vice President from 2020 to 2023 and briefly held the role of Public Relations Director for the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Americas. Ukpeme Okon has a Barrister-at-Law degree from the Nigerian Law School in Abuja, obtained in 2003.
