Neil Brown

Research Fellow at Rothamsted Research

Neil Brown has a diverse work experience in the field of research and academia. Neil started their career at Universidade de São Paulo, where they held two fellowship roles, including the FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship. In 2015, they joined Rothamsted Research as a Postdoctoral Researcher and later became a Research Fellow. Currently, they are working as a Lecturer at the University of Bath.

Neil Brown completed their education in a chronological manner. Neil started their academic journey in 2002 at the University of Bath, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biology in 2005. Building upon this, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master's Degree in Plant Molecular Biology from Imperial College London in 2007. Neil's passion for plant science led him to continue their education at The University of Edinburgh, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from 2007 to 2012.
