Sara McDonald

Sara McDonald has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on sales and client services. Sara is currently working as the Private Markets Sales & Distribution Director at Rothschild & Co, a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Sales and Investor Relations at Hermance Capital from November 2020 to May 2023.

Before joining Rothschild & Co, Sara worked at SYZ Group from 2017 to 2019 as the Head of Client Services. Sara also held the role of Director - Trading & Advisory Sales at Lombard Odier Group in 2016.

Sara's earlier experiences include working as a Sales Director at BlueBay Asset Management from 2006 to 2013 and in Investor Relations at Gottex Fund Management from 2004 to 2006. Sara began their career as a Consultant at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services from 2001 to 2002.

Sara McDonald obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business/Commerce, General from McGill University between 1995 and 1999. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Mathematics at the HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne from 1999 to 2001.
