Lavion Gibson

Lavion Gibson is a seasoned designer with extensive experience in footwear and product design, currently serving as Senior Design Director - Footwear & Innovation at Rothy's since April 2018. Previously held roles at Rothy's include Director of Product Design for Footwear & Accessories and Senior Design Manager. From July 2009 to March 2018, Lavion worked at Deckers Brands as a Senior Footwear Designer for the Teva Brand, overseeing design direction across various footwear categories for a diverse consumer base. Additional experience includes a Design Consultant role at Motorola Mobility, focusing on products for law enforcement, and serving as Design Team Lead at Herman Miller, where Lavion participated in an innovation project aimed at enhancing patient-centered care. Lavion holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from Arizona State University, completed in 2009.
