Mike Denison

Principal / Design Director at Roto

Mike Denison has over 17 years of work experience in design and education. Mike is currently working as the Head of Design at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal/Design Director at Roto Group LLC, where they served as the Senior Designer from 2010 to 2017. Additionally, they have served as a Board Member and Vice President at the Bexley Board of Education from 2012 to 2018. Mike has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University from 2005 to 2010 and held positions as an Associate at NBBJ and Jonathan Barnes Architecture and Design.

Mike Denison has a comprehensive education history in the field of architecture. Mike attended Miami University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned their Bachelor of Environmental Design (B.E.D.) degree. Following this, they pursued further education at The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree.
